A presence service system, a presence server system, and an operating method thereof are provided to offer a presence service to the terminal of the other party by presence information registered by a terminal and contents automatically selected, thereby conveying a current feeling condition to the other party smoothly and smartly to win the favor of the other party. A terminal(100) drives a presence application, registers current presence information, and designates contents and a genre range to register the contents and the genre range in a presence server(110). The presence server authenticates that the terminal uses the presence server, manages the set presence information, and performs logic for selecting contents automatically. A call processing server(140) provides a call processing service with the contents selected by the control of the terminal and the presence server. A contents server(130) provides the contents selected by the control of the presence server and the call processing server.
