A broadcasting terminal and a broadcasting replacing method thereof are provided to stop currently-reproduced broadcasting and automatically reproduce replaced broadcasting if a user is located in a shadow area, thereby enabling the user to watch the broadcasting continuously even in the shadow area. A broadcasting replacing method of a broadcasting terminal comprises the following steps of: reproducing a broadcasting by receiving a broadcasting signal(S200); replacing the broadcasting by the other broadcasting if it is determined that a user is located in a shadow area while reproducing the broadcasting(S210,S250); and reproducing the other broadcasting(S260). The other broadcasting is a video file installed in an AM(Amplitude Modulation), FM(Frequency Modulation) or terminal.
