A RAKE BRACKET ASSEMBLY OF A STEERING COLUMN FOR A VEHICLE

A rake bracket assembly of a steering column for a vehicle is provided to form a predetermined notch at one side of an outer circumferential surface of a guide plate in order to cause the deformation of the guide plate in tilting. A slot(12) provided in a rake bracket(11) is inclined in a predetermined shape, so that tilting up is prevented. The prevention of the tilting up is achieved by allowing a bolt(10) to progress along the slot. A rake slot guide is assembled in the slot of the rake bracket. The rake slot guide has a rectangular groove in order to guide a rake bolt(19). A predetermined notch is formed at the outer circumferential surface of the rake slot guide, so that the rake slot guide is smoothly deformed.
