A method and an apparatus for setting a connection state of a dual tuner are provided to set the connection state of a satellite signal line of each tuner automatically in a digital broadcasting receiver having the two tuners, thereby increasing the convenience of a user. In a method for setting a tuner connection state for n satellites connected to one or more antennas in a digital broadcasting receiver having plural tuners, the method comprises the following steps. By using a satellite signal inputted from each satellite, a connection state of the tuner for each satellite is set(610). By using the connection state set for each satellite and the satellite signal inputted from each satellite, a connection state of the tuner between satellites is set(620).
