A food waste drier is provided to keep an inner temperature and an air volume uniformly, thereby improving the efficiency in removal of food waste and enhancing the deodorizing performance of a deodorizing element. A food waste drier comprises a body, a cover(20) for covering an opened portion of the body, a drying basket(25) for receiving food waste, a heater(30), an air circulation fan(31) for sending heat, which is generated by the heater, to the drying basket to dry the food waste, a circulation pipe(40) for exhausting air containing steam and circulating dried air to the drying basket, a dielectric sensor(50) for sensing the temperature change of a drying space to control the operation of the heater and the air circulation fan, and a deodorizing column(60) for adsorbing and deodorizing steam containing odor particles. The deodorizing column is composed of an inlet port(60a) connected to the circulation pipe, and an outlet port(60c) communicating with the inlet pipe to exhaust air without steam to the outside. A deodorizing element(61) is detachably installed in a deodorizing space so that the deodorizing element adsorbs and deodorizes the steam containing odor particles. Further, the deodorzing element is an activated carbon of which an average diameter is 3 to 4 mm, and is in an activated carbon case.
