<p>An apparatus for manufacturing molten irons and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to extract required gas by using flue gas exhausted from reduction furnaces. An apparatus(100) for manufacturing molten irons comprises: one or more reduction furnaces(20) for reducing iron ores to manufacture reduced irons; a melter-gasifier(10) which is connected to the reduction furnaces to charge the reduced irons and lump carbonaceous material into the melter-gasifier, and into which oxygen is blown to manufacture molten irons; a reduction gas supply pipe(40) for supplying reduction gas that has been generated and exhausted from the melter-gasifier into the one or more reduction furnaces; and two or more PSAs(Pressure Swing Absorbers)(77,79) for reforming flue gas exhausted from the one or more reduction furnaces to extract the reformed gas. The two or more PSAs include a first PSA and a second PSA, the first and second PSAs extract hydrogen or carbon dioxide as the gas, and the first and second PSAs are connected to each other in series or parallel. The apparatus further comprises a gas compressor(76) installed in front of the two or more PSAs to compress the flue gas.</p> |
