#CMT# #/CMT# The tower (1) has a column (2) including two storage zones (3, 4) arranged one above another. A loading frame (5) is arranged opposite to the column. A carriage (6) is vertically and slidably connected with respect to the frame and has a mobile portion (8) which is horizontally and slidably connected with respect to a fixed portion (7). The mobile portion includes rolling elements cooperating with guide sections which are arranged below each of the storage zones at the column. The mobile portion has a lifting unit lifting an assembly of objects provided inside the storage zones. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Tower for storing an object e.g. plate, sheet and tube. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The configuration of the tower reduces the number of rolling elements and utilizes a guiding unit for guiding the carriage below the objects to be stored, thus reducing fabrication cost of the tower.
