A DTV having a web page accessing function and an accessing method thereof are provided to access a web page of a corresponding program only through broadcasting time information and virtual channel of the program, thereby reducing burden of the amount of PSIP(Program and System Information Protocol) data received during digital broadcasting and utilizing the PSIP in another data transmission. A DTV(Digital Television) board(100) receives a digital broadcasting signal and displays the received digital broadcasting signal through a display unit(300). A PC(Personal Computer) board(400) uses the display unit as an output device. A microprocessor(150) is installed within the DTV board and controls the DTV board. A PC memory(460) is installed within the PC board. The PC memory stores a broadcasting channel corresponding to a virtual channel set to the DTV, and stores web page address information of a program by time of each broadcasting channel. The PC board further comprises a CPU(Central Processing Unit)(430). The CPU detects a web access request time and a virtual channel of a displayed channel when a user requests web access. The CPU searches web page address information of a corresponding program from the PC memory to perform Internet access to a web page.
