In a car theft alarm system, operation of a master switch opens a contact 20 to break the ignition circuit, and closes contact 10 connected in the energization circuit of relay 13. Subsequent opening of one of the closures of the car, e.g. door bonnet or boot, closes one of the switches 15-18, completing the energizing circuit to relay 13 which operates closing self hold contact B and a further contact A in the horn circuit. |
