LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

A LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance display quality of the LCD panel by driving the LCD panel according to brightness or color of an image. A LCD device includes an LCD panel(112), an error memory(160), an image processor(170), a timing controller(110), and a data driver(106). The error memory stores error values which are obtained by comparing brightness and color measurements of the LCD panel with reference values. The image processor processes the signals from a main body in consideration of the error value. The timing controller receives the processed signal from the image processor and generates a driving signal. The data driver supplies the driving signal to the LCD panel.
