摘要 A brake caliper system of a vehicle is provided to wear out a brake pad evenly by controlling pressure applied to two hydraulic pistons with two reduction valves. A brake caliper system of a vehicle comprises displacement sensors, and a hydraulic control unit. The displacement sensor detects displacement of a plurality of hydraulic pistons(12a,12b) pressing a brake pad(11) to press against a rotating disk(10). The hydraulic control unit detects displacements of each hydraulic piston sensed by the displacement sensors, calculates a different value of the displacement, comparing the different value with a reference value, outputs a control signal corresponding to the difference between the reference value and the different value, and controls hydraulic pressure applied to the hydraulic pistons. The displacement sensors are stain gauges(14a). The hydraulic control unit includes an ECU(Electric Control Unit), and reduction units(15a,15b). The ECU calculates sensed signals of the displacement sensor, and outputs a control signal. The reduction valve receives the control signal from the ECU and controls hydraulic pressure applied to each hydraulic piston.
