An apparatus for scattering loess to prevent a red tide is provided to scatter the loess not on wide seawater randomly but on a necessary region selectively and concentratively, thereby improving convenience and economic efficiency. Loess and seawater are mixed in a water tank, thereby preparing a loess mixture liquid. The loess mixture liquid is scattered around an aquafarm through a line. The line is composed of a pipe having holes perforated therein, and a connecting portion. The water tank is divided into a seawater-collecting pump for supplying the seawater to the water tank, a stirring pump for sucking and spraying the loess mixture liquid so as to stir the loess and the seawater uniformly, and a screw-shaped gravel-removing tank for removing large-sized loess particles. The loess mixture liquid is moved along a pipe, which is positioned at a lower portion of the water tank, and then scattered around the aquafarm.
