#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves inserting optical fibers (15) parallel to each other in a sheath extruder with lubricant e.g. talc, from a non-zero height such that an insertion speed of the optical fibers in the sheath extruder is higher than a formation speed of a sheath (150). The optical fibers are reassembled in micromodules before insertion in the sheath extruder. An impression marking (180) is provided on the external periphery of the sheath. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for an equipment for manufacturing an optical fiber telecommunication cable. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for manufacturing an optical fiber telecommunication cable. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The optical fibers parallel to each other is inserted in the sheath extruder with the lubricant from the non-zero height such that the insertion speed of the optical fibers in the sheath extruder is higher than the formation speed of the sheath, thus avoiding accordion of the optical fibers, and producing extra-length of the cable core having large number of optical fibers parallel arranged and partially occupying the cable cavity. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a cross sectional view of a telecommunication cable to be obtained based on a manufacturing method. 1 : Optical fiber telecommunication cable 15 : Optical fibers 110 : Protective cover 150 : Sheath 180 : Impression marking. |
