A system and a method for allowing full-version contents installed in a mobile device are provided to cut down on expenses for contents providers in case a mobile device manufacturer embeds contents in mobile devices by only allowing the user of a mobile device, in which full-version contents are installed, to use the full version when the user makes a request to use the full-version contents after using the demo version and levying a special charge on a contents provider when the use of the full-version contents is permitted. The user of a mobile device, in which full-version contents, limited in use, are installed, first uses the demo version of the contents(S100). In case the user wants to use the full version of the contents as well as the demo version, the user sends a full version request to a full version permission server(S102). Receiving the full version request, a full version permission server allows the user to use the full version of the contents(S104). In this case, the full version permission server transmits a short message containing a password to notify the user of permission for the full version of the contents. Receiving the short message, the user inputs the password and uses the full version(S106).
