The valve (10) has a unit e.g. air cylinder, rotatably moving a closure flap (30) relative to a valve body (12) around an axis (X) between two positions in which support surfaces (32, 34) of the flap co-operate with sealing seats (20, 22) to close exhaust gas outlets (16, 18), respectively. A large face (66) of the flap and the body delimit a passage (76) from an exhaust gas inlet (14) to the outlet (16) when the flap is in one of the positions. The surface (32) of the face has opposed portions arranged near peripheral walls of the inlet and the outlet (16) when the flap is in the position.
