An electro-optic device, an illuminating device, a method of manufacturing an electro-optic device and an electronic apparatus are provided to fix a light guide plate and a flexible circuit board without gap between the light guide plate and the flexible circuit board so as to prevent light leakage and keep brightness stable. An electro-optic device includes an electro-optic panel(20A), a light source(13) providing light to the electro-optic panel, a light guide plate(15) for guiding the light emitted from the light source to the electro-optic panel, and a flexible circuit board(93) on which the light source is mounted. The flexible circuit board is attached to the light guide plate using adhesive members(151,153) such that a part of the flexible circuit board faces the light guide plate and the light source is arranged opposite to the edge of the light guide plate. Concave portions(150) are formed at portions of the light guide plate which correspond to the adhesive members. |
