A heating cooking appliance is provided to prevent internal parts from malfunctioning due to heat generated by a burner system, and to enable perfect combustion and generate a large amount of heat by increasing combustion efficiency and reducing the flow resistance of air fed into a burner pot, and to afford convenient installation and reduce costs by reducing the height of the burner pot. A heating cooking appliance includes a case(2), a top plate, a heating unit, a control unit, a switch(29), and a barrier. The top plate is placed on the upper portion of the case. The heating unit is provided in the internal space of the case, and burns a gas mixture to generate heat. The control unit functions to control the operation of the heating unit. The switch is provided on the outer portion of the case, and is manipulated so that the heating unit burns the gas. The barrier prevents heat from being transferred from the heating unit to the control unit. A through hole is formed in the barrier so that the switch passes through the through hole. |
