A frit discharge apparatus for manufacturing a plasma display panel is provided to uniformly discharge frit through a compressed air by using a frit level measuring unit for accurately measuring an amount of the frit being filled. A storage unit has an inlet and a nozzle(107) for discharging frit filled through the inlet. A sealing unit(130) seals an upper portion of the storage unit. A guide member(150) is fixed on an upper surface of the sealing unit to be communicated with the storage unit. A frit level measuring unit(170) includes a float(171), a magnet(173), and a sensor. The float is floated corresponding to the frit filled in the storage unit. The sensor senses the movement of the magnet. A compressed air inlet(190) is connected to a compressed air supplier on an upper surface of the sealing unit. The compressed air inlet supplies a compressed air in response to the measuring result of the frit level measuring unit so as to uniformly discharge the frit through the nozzle. A controller controls a frit supplier and the compressed air supplier.
