An apparatus for discharging sludge of a depositing pond is provided to disperse the sludge collected in a hoper effectively, thereby improving the efficiency in discharge of the sludge. A scraper(220) is connected to a driving part(100) to transport sludge, which is deposited in a depositing pond, to a hoper(H). A hoper gate(300) is installed within the hoper such that the hoper gate is distanced from one inner wall of the hoper. A wire(400) is connected to the driving part to open or close the hoper gate. A discharge port(500) is installed at the hoper. The scraper is installed on an endless track type chain(210). Further, the driving part contains a first driving part for driving the scraper and a second driving part for driving the wire.
