A public e-document notarizing system for displaying or providing a notarized e-document on the online network is provided to secure truth and authenticity of action even if one side damages or discards data, separately from a technology for securing the authenticity, such as a digital sign or signature, of the e-document. A notarization information server stores notarized e-documents, and a user registers an e-document to be notarized to the notarization information server on the online network(100). The notarization information server assigns a registration number to the received e-document(101). The user requests a notary to notarize the received e-document by using the registration number(102). The notary receives the e-documents from the notarization information server(104). The notary completes a notarization procedure for the e-documents(106). The notarization information server informs the user of a notarization number of the notarized e-documents and registers the notarization number(107). The user views or receives notarized e-document information stored in the notarization information server on the online network by using the registration number and the notarization number(110).
