摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The material has an external skin (1) comprising parallel electrical insulating layers (2, 3) with KEVLAR(RTM: aramide fibers) impregnated with epoxy resin. A flat semiconductor screen (4) is provided between the layers for absorbing electromagnetic waves. The screen is made of fabric and formed of periodic bidirectional network whose linear periodicity is null. The linear periodicity of the screen is greater than 2 centimeters. The network has a set of semiconductor filaments (5, 6) made of carbon. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an electromagnetically absorbing and structural composite material. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Electromagnetically absorbing and structural composite material for being integrated to aeronautical and marine structures. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The material is light in weight and provides high mechanical properties.
