PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound utilizable as an organic n-semiconductor of excellent electron transport. SOLUTION: The compound is a fluorine-containing compound represented by formula (I) [wherein Ar1and Ar2are each independently 10C or higher aromatic hydrocarbon group or a 4C or higher heterocyclic group; R1is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent; R2and R3are each independently a monovalent substituent; and s1 and t1 are each independently an integer of 0 or greater, provided that when s1 is 2 or greater, the plurality of R2s may be the same or different from each other and that when t1 is 2 or greater, the plurality of R3s may be the same or different from each other].
