PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial composition which can synergistically reinforce respective antibacterial actions of chlorhexidine gluconate and triclosan or isopropylmethylphenol even in various skin states which differ in the amount and the ratio of sweat and sebum, and a deodorant agent comprising the antibacterial composition. SOLUTION: The antibacterial composition suitable against Staphylococcus epidermidis comprises chlorhexidine gluconate and triclosan or isopropylmethylphenol, and the deodorant agent comprises the composition.
