PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and highly accurately align a lens barrel in an easy and high accurate manner. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes a first lens frame 110 holding a first lens G1; and a second lens frame 120 holding a second lens G2 and a third lens G3 and fitted in the first lens frame. The first lens frame 110 has a first holding part 113 for holding the first lens G1; and a fittable recess 115 formed around the first holding part 113 and allowing the second lens frame 120 to be fitted and held therein, with a predetermined gap left there. The second lens frame 120 has a second holding part 123 formed facing the first lens G1 in the direction of an optical axis and holding the second lens G2; and a third holding part 124 formed opposite to a side of the second holding part 123 in the direction of the optical axis and allowing the third lens G3 to be fitted and held therein, with a predetermined gap left there. Thus, since this makes it possible to align two lenses, in relation to one lens from one direction, alignment work can be carried out easily and with high accuracy due to the simple set up.
