A variable load holding hand truck is provided to prevent loads from being shaken, slid, or dropt due to an obstacle or a gradient by pressing the loads with a holding bar regardless of quantities and loading positions of the loads in case of transporting the loads. A variable load holding hand truck includes a board(120), wheels(111), a holding bar(700), a sliding unit(300), and a board sliding unit guide gap(124). Loads are loaded on the board. The holding bar has a stopper inserted in a board stopper inserting unevenness(122) in both ends thereof. The sliding unit has a structure to insert or take out the stopper in or from the board stopper inserting unevenness. The board sliding unit guide gap guides the sliding unit.
