<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval service to a client, and to provide marketing information to a supplier by using an information retrieval request made by the client. <P>SOLUTION: In a wine information retrieval system 100, an information request accepting part 110 stores an information request from a consumer in a magnetic disk device 920. A wine information retrieval part 120 acquires wine information whose information has been requested from a magnetic disk device 920, and a wine information providing part 130 responds to the consumer with the wine information. Then, a marketing information generation part 140 acquires the information request made by the consumer until this time from a magnetic disk device 920, and generates statistical information by totaling the information requests for each of the attributes of the consumer.
