PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery that prevents falling-off of an upper exterior ring occurring when mounting the upper exterior ring to a cap of an assembly sealing part or poor label appearance that a label enters into a gap occurring due to deformation of the upper exterior ring. SOLUTION: On the face on the cap-convex-part side in an assembly sealing plate, at least the outer diameter of an upper-exterior-ring mounting part is smaller than the inner diameter of the upper exterior ring, and also, at least one or more parts larger than the inner diameter of the upper exterior ring are provided above the upper-exterior-ring mounting part.
