PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution in which electric connection between both panel substrates is facilitated in a laminated liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In a multilayer liquid crystal cell which is made by laminating a liquid crystal cell having a panel substrate with rigidity and a liquid crystal cell having a panel substrate with flexibility, the electric connection with the panel substrate with rigidity is performed by utilizing the flexibility of the panel substrate with flexibility, in the display device. A part of the panel substrate with flexibility is projected, and electrode wiring is provided on the projected part for the connection between the panel substrates. By bending the panel substrate with flexibility, the electrode wiring formed on the projected part is brought into contact with the panel substrate with rigidity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
