PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for determining an analyte in a bodily fluid sample including a graphic-based step-by-step tutorial module. SOLUTION: This system includes a meter and at least one analytical test strip. The meter includes a user interface, a memory unit storing step-by-step tutorial information including graphic images depicting use of the system, and a graphic-based step-by-step tutorial module having a microprocessor unit constituted so as to at least adjust and control them. At least one analytical test strip is configured for the application of the bodily fluid sample thereon and for insertion into the meter for subsequent measurement of the analyte in the bodily fluid sample. In addition, the user interface, the microprocessor unit and the memory unit are operatively linked and configured for sequential display of the graphic images of the step-by-step tutorial to the user.
