LIPOSOME PREPARATION BY SINGLE-PASS PROCESS

The present invention relates to a method of preparing liposomes in a singlepass mode. The method comprises the extusion of a solution or suspension through a porous device and subsequently passing said suspension or solution through a nozzle. Passing the suspension through said nozzle may result in an atomisation of the suspension or solution into droplets which might be employed in a subsequent spray-drying or spray-freezing process.
