A method for downloading and logging on to a program in an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) with a USB(Universal Serial Bus) memory are provided to download the program to a memory of each function part from the USB memory by installing a USB port and a DIP(Dual In-line Package) switch to each function part of the ATM, and controlling the DIP switch, and check an operation state of each function by enabling each function part to operate the program of the USB memory or download/operate the program. A USB memory in installed to a USB port of a function part(S110). A purpose of the USB memory is selected by operating a DIP switch installed to the function part(S120). The program stored in the USB memory is downloaded to the function part, is operated in the function part without being downloaded to the function, or a logging process for recording an operation result of the function part according to the program stored in the USB memory is performed by controlling the DIP switch of the function. The DIP switch is returned to a normal operation position after the function part is operated by using the USB memory. The USB memory installed at the USB port is removed(S130). A display unit displays a finish state when program download, program operation, or the logging process is finished. |
