PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system that a monitor server automatically manages necessary monitor terminals. SOLUTION: The monitor system is composed of a pair of a camera and an encoder, a camera management server, and a rendezvous point (RP). The encoder convolutes metadata (video source information) of the camera to stream data, and the RP acquires the video source information from the stream data to update a multicast management table and a camera ID table. Then, if the data size of the camera ID table is changed, the RP notifies the camera management server of it. When receiving the notification, the camera management server acquires differences of the video source information from the RP to update its own temporary table, so that the problem is solved.
