PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull handle device of a sliding door, which is formed by arranging a pull handle frame on the sliding door for laterally slidingly opening/closing a front opening section of a cabinet or the like, and displacing an operating member arranged in the pull handle frame to engage/disengage a latch, wherein the pull handle device minimizes a lateral width of the pull handle frame to a bare minimum extent to contribute to improved appearance, and exerts excellent operability. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the pull handle device, a released portion 8 is formed inside the box-shaped pull handle frame 3 whose front surface is opened, and a proximal portion of the operating member 4 is held in a manner being rotatable frontward and rearward on a vertical rotation axis, to be arranged inside the pull handle frame in parallel with the same. Then a finger hook portion 9 is formed at an idling portion of the operating member, located inside the pull handle frame via the released portion, and the latch member 5 is rotatably arranged in the vicinity of the operating member. When the finger hook portion is rotated frontward to rotate the latch member in interlock with the same, engagement of the latch member with an engaging portion formed in a stile 10 of the front opening section of the cabinet or the like, is canceled.
