PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing an underground wall capable of smoothly advancing an entire construction operation by reducing a load for drilling by a multi-spindle excavator even if the ground is hard, stabilizing drilling positions and drilling directions, and preventing a portion with insufficient strength which may cause the spouting of pressurized water or damage to the underground wall from being produced. SOLUTION: The portions 8 expected to be drilled by the separated spindles of the excavating spindle of a multi-spindle excavator are drilled beforehand by a single-spindle excavator having a drilling diameter smaller than the drilling diameter of the multi-spindle excavator to form preceding excavation holes 6.
