<p>In a case where broadcast electric waves of different frequencies are transmitted from a plurality of broadcast stations, broadcasts of the same contents are propagated, and information related to a plurality of groups of broadcast electric waves having different frequencies is stored as key station group information. It is monitored during reception of a broadcast electric wave whether the audio data of the broadcast electric wave is stereo or monophonic audio, and if it is determined that the audio data exhibits monophonic audio for a predetermined time, then a reception frequency is set, based on the key station group information, to thefrequency of another broadcast electric wave belonging to the same group as the broadcast electric wave being received.</p> |
