A plasma display panel is provided to prevent an undercut effect and an edge curl effect by forming a bus electrode with a single layer. A front substrate(15) and a rear substrate(10) are disposed opposite to each other. An address electrode(11) is extended in a first direction on the rear substrate. A display electrode(16) is formed in a second direction crossing the first direction on the front substrate. A front dielectric layer(17) is formed to cover the display electrode. A protective layer(18) is formed to cover the front dielectric layer and is colored with a first color. A barrier rib is arranged in a space between the front and the rear substrates in order to define a plurality of discharge cells. A phosphor layer(14) is formed within the discharge cell. The display electrode includes a bus electrode colored with a second color. The first and second colors have subtractive color mixture relationship.
