ILLUMINATION SENSOR, REMOTE CONTROL LIGHT RECEPTION UNIT HAVING THE SAME, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination sensor capable of preventing an output signal from substantially differing from a signal corresponding to ambient illuminance when being affected by light differing from light reflecting the ambient illuminance.

SOLUTION: The illumination sensor 10 outputs a signal corresponding to the illuminance of light received by a light receiving element 11 from an output terminal 13. The illumination sensor 10 has a latch circuit 14 keeping the signal outputted from the output terminal 13 constant. In the illumination sensor 10, a control signal inputted from an external input terminal 15 turns on/off the signal holding operation of the latch circuit 14.
