PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein consistency cannot be acquired at a display position on a map by accuracy difference between a plurality of position acquiring methods, in a system for detecting and managing a position of an object person. SOLUTION: A GPS function and a radio tag are mounted to a personal digital assistant. A tag reader is installed in an indoor management object region, the existence of the radio tag is detected, and detected information is transmitted to a management center. The management center displays the position of the personal digital assistant on the map, based on the positional information of the tag reader for detecting the radio tag and the positional information acquired by the GPS function. While the radio tag is detected (S112) or in a subsequent margin period (S120), tag position information is preferentially displayed on the map (S114, S122, S116 and S118).
