PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that can improve the interest of a game by the particularity of symbol array as well as increase the number of kinds of game presentation using a plurality of temporary stop symbol specifying commands. SOLUTION: The general control CPU 37a outputs a first temporary stop symbol specifying command for temporarily stopping a first main symbol E1 and a second temporary stop symbol specifying command for stopping a second main symbol E2 which corresponds with a sub-symbol E3 accompanied by the temporarily stopped first main symbol E1. The general control CPU 37a outputs the first temporary stop symbol specifying command for temporarily stopping the second main symbol E2 and the second temporary stop symbol specifying command for temporarily stopping the first main symbol E1 with the sub-symbol E3 which corresponds with the temporarily stopped second main symbol E2. The general control CPU 37a changes the second main symbol to the same symbol as the first main symbol E1, and outputs a final stop symbol specifying command for displaying the changed symbol.
