PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic scanning millimeter-wave radar device that effectively eliminates an unnecessary component, if any, contained in an incoming wave. SOLUTION: A beam signal is generated in accordance with Fourier transform of a digitalized beat signal so as to have a predetermined pitch angle. Next, the bearing and distance of an object is detected from the generated beam signal. Meanwhile, an unnecessary signal component is eliminated from each beat signal on which Fourier transform has been performed, and inverse Fourier transform is performed on the signal. Then, the beat signal is separated in accordance with the bearing and distance of the object as detected from each beat signal on which inverse Fourier transform has been performed.
