PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button which has metallic luster, is rich in decoration property, is high in safety in consideration of the influence on a human body, and does't activate a meter. SOLUTION: The button is obtained through the following steps: a step of pretreating the surface of a base material of the button for at least electroless plating: a step of forming a mirror coating by spraying a plating liquid; and a step of providing a top coat layer on the mirror coating.
