PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-emitting laser driving device capable of suppressing variation in power of a surface-emitting laser by compensating the surface-emitting laser even if a current flowing through the surface-emitting laser changes. SOLUTION: The driving device is provided with a surface-emitting laser LD for outputting laser beam, a bias current source Ib for supplying a bias current to the surface-emitting laser in accordance with a control voltage, a complimentary current source Is for supplying a current to the surface-emitting laser when the surface-emitting layer is turned on, a capacitor C2 and a switch SW2 for supplying a compensation pulse signal to the surface-emitting laser synchronously when the surface-emitting laser is turned on, and an amplifier A1 for suppressing the level of the compensation of a pulse signal.
