PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the turn of a coil assembly with a simple constitution, and to certainly prevent the turn, in constituting a torque detection sensor by storing the coil assembly in a casing in a turn preventing shape. SOLUTION: When first and second coil assemblies 13 and 14 are formed by mounting coil bobbins 13a and 14a on which windings 13b and 14b are wound to the inside of yokes 13c and 14c, and the coil assemblies 13 and 14 are stored in a cover 15, a pair of notches 15f are formed from the inner diameter end in the bottom piece 15a of the cover 15, and a cut erected piece 15g for energizing the first and second coil assemblies 13 and 14 in the axial direction by cutting and erecting the part between the notches 15f to the opening side is formed.
