The seat has two backrests that are linked by an outer pivot bearing and a middle pivot bearing (8) to a structure (5). A rotational axis (10) of the backrests is defined and moved relative to the structure from a usage position into a nonusage position. A common spring (25) prestresses the backrests to the non usage position. The spring is provided at the middle pivot bearing. The spring has a side section, acts upon one of the backrests, and is supported with a middle section in a structure-firm manner.
