<p>A hinge module and electronic equipment having the same are provided to prevent a fixed bar from being broken due to external force by rotating the fixed bar of a fixed unit to fix movement of a rotating unit according to intensity of applied force. A hinge module includes a rotating unit(120), a housing unit(110), and a fixed unit. The rotating unit has a rotary shaft(121). The housing unit rotatably inserts a part of the rotary shaft therein. The fixed unit is partially inserted in or drawn out of the rotary shaft to control rotation force of the rotary shaft. A rotation resistance between the fixed unit and the rotary shaft of the rotating unit is larger than that between the rotary shaft of the rotating unit and the housing unit. The rotary shaft has a groove at one end. The fixed unit has a fixed bar partially inserted in or drawn out of the groove of the rotary shaft.</p> |
