<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable recording without making any hardware changes by directly eliminating flickering amplitude caused by surface wobbling appearing in the peak value of an RF signal during recording. <P>SOLUTION: A system controller 10 measures flickering amplitude of a peak value of an RF signal and amplitude of an FD signal by a digital signal processing circuit 7 during test recording before disk recording, and obtains an amplitude ratio thereof to store it in the predetermined area of an EEPROM 11. Then, during disk recording, flickering amplitude of a peak value of the RF signal and amplitude of the FD signal are measured by the digital signal processing circuit 7, and a correction value is calculated based on the measured amplitude of the measured FD signal and the amplitude ratio stored in the EEPROM 11. By using this correction value, the measured peak value of the RF signal is corrected, and ROPC control is carried out by using the corrected RF signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
