<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram reproduction medium having a larger recording capacity in comparison with the conventional one, a master disk for duplicating a hologram reproduction medium, an apparatus and a method for manufacturing the master disk for duplicating a hologram reproduction medium, and a method for manufacturing the hologram reproduction medium. <P>SOLUTION: The master disk for duplicating the hologram reproduction medium is manufactured by forming a first hologram by irradiating a master disk 60A for duplicating the hologram reproduction medium by condensing first signal light including information of recording data to a focal position P1 and at the same time, irradiating the master disk 60A for duplicating the hologram reproduction medium with a first reference light, and forming a second hologram by irradiating the master disk 60A for duplicating the hologram reproduction medium by condensing second signal light 43 not including information or including information different from the recording data to a focal position P2 and at the same time, irradiating the master disk 60A for duplicating the hologram reproduction medium with a second reference light 44.
