<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in conventional vehicle seats that since it is impossible to install a backrest opposing to a vehicle seat backrest by moving a cushion portion for sitting of a seat, it is required to rotate the seat itself, and thus if a vehicle does not have an enough space to perform such rotation, it is impossible to use a vehicle seat backrest in accordance with physiques. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle seat has a cushion 1 for sitting and a seat backrest 3.
