PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat aging resistance and resistance to fatigue from flexing of a vulcanized rubber while maintaining necessary hardness. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a sulfur-vulcanizable diene-based rubber containing≥50 pts.wt. of a polybutadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of≤-80°C, (B) 20-70 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component (A) of carbon black having a nitrogen absorption specific surface area (N2SA) of≤70 m2/g and (C) 0.1-15 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component (A) of an organic sulfide compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R is a substituted or nonsubstituted 2-20C alkylene group or oxyalkylene group; n is a number of 1-20).
