PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an animal ectoparasite controller containing a plant essential oil as an active ingredient and having high safety to humans and animals. SOLUTION: The animal ectoparasite controller has high safety to humans and animals and takes an environmental problem into consideration by using a plant essential oil. The animal ectoparasite controller comprises an essential oil of Dendrobium moniliforme of the family Orchidaceae and Sambucus sieboldeana of the family Caprifoliaceae, a solvent, a moisture retaining component and a beauty component and has high insecticidal activity to ectoparasites such as fleas, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
